You’ll find this underneath the list of options on the left menu. If you’re not sure which one you’d like to choose, you can tick the box titled Use random screen saver. The tilde (~) character at the front of the pathname represents your personal home directory. ~/Library/Screen Savers/: Screen savers stored in this location can only be used by the current user account.Drag your downloaded screen saver into this folder. Open your startup drive, look for the Library folder, then locate the Screen Savers folder.
A pathname beginning with / indicates the file is stored on your startup drive, starting at the root entry point.
